Wild Weed Walks
April 26, June 14, and July 5 at 3:00 - 4:30 pm
(July 5th walk cancelled
due to low enrollment)
Have you wondered what plants are edible and useful for medicine growing wild in your yard, the woods and meadows around us? Did you know these wild plants often contain much more nutrition that cultivated food
crops? The green world is abundant, and there is plenty to eat and make medicine with! On these informal walks we will look at what is blooming and what is ready to harvest and we will identify many of the common weeds and talk about their gifts and abundance. Each person will take home a sample or remedy.
Class fee: $10 per class per person
