What is the local movement and how can we thoughtfully apply these ideas to our herbal medicines? How does the local movement inspire us as medicine makers and what issues need to be addressed in the herbal community? How can we strive to reduce our "medicine miles"? How can the movement to use and create with local ingredients inspire us to put relationship first in our creations?

Lets answer these questions, roll up our sleeves, and play with some local traditional fats, learn their roles in traditional medicines, as well as the use of local honey in medicines for vitality. We will also look at a few local herbs that grow with vigor and abundance and offer us a wide array of medicinal possibilities.
