Looking for ways to include herbs and wild plants into your everyday life with remedies for yourself and your family? Does the world of herbal healing feel a little overwhelming and you are wondering where to start? This is the class for you!
During this hands on four week course, you will be opened to the possibilities of the plants surrounding you for food, medicine and pleasure. Learn how to pick a wild salad from plants growing outside your doorstep, learn simple, easy herbal medicines to treat a variety of common illness', and explore the concept of the Wise Woman Tradition as it relates to health and wholeness. You will leave class with a basic understanding of making tinctures, vinegars, salves, teas, decoctions, infusions, oils and more. Come prepared to spend time in the outdoors and we will gather and create together! All materials and handouts provided, as well as herbal infusions, taste tests and snacks.
