Janice has worked as a traditional midwife, herbalist and massage therapist since 1981. For several years she has taught these healing modalities as well. Janice loves to watch her students grow, develop their intuition, and integrate herbs, midwifery, and the natural healing arts into their lifestyles. Janice has studied herbalism from such noted herbalists as David Hoffman, Rosemary Gladstar, Stephen Buhner, and Tierona Low Dog MD, as well as attending several herbal intensives throughout the years. 

Janice's best herbal education has come from the plants themselves. During the summertime Janice can be found in her organic gardens preparing herbal remedies for her business, Granny Janny Herbs. 

Janice is also the author of the book, The Roots of Natural Mothering. Music was Janice's first love and she loves to sing chants with women and loves to be a part of any kind of creative process.
