Channon has studied and performed folkloric dance styles and music from around the world including North African, Egyptian , Persian, Turkish, Romany (Turkish and Spanish) and specializes in Raks al Saif (Sword dance) and historical world dance interpretations. Her studies began over 10 years ago with the Awahlim Dance Troupe of Canada, with Krystal, Yasmina Ramzy, Aida al Adawi, Helene Eriksen and Sahra Saeeda amoung others.
